Responsibilities:
The Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will be involved with the
design of innovative and market leading power products. You must have
a proven track record in complete product design and have expert
knowledge of existing and emerging design topologies. The position
will coordinate with Sales & Marketing for product definition and then
work with the R&D team to provide innovative solutions which meet all
project performance, cost and schedule targets.
You must have experience in AC/DC power supply design including the
following;
? Schematic drawings and circuit simulations
? PCB layouts and manufacturing and be familiar with a variety of
substrates
? Mechanical conceptualisation and thermal management
? Component selections and bill of material management
? Full product testing such as DVT and HALT
? DFM optimisation
? Quality and safety experience in common international standard such
UL, CE and EMC.
Applicants must be self-directed and own the project while driving
multiple solutions in parallel. Must be a continuous learner with a
strong curiosity for exploring new ideas. Well organised, excellent
project management and communication skills is a must. The role will
require occasional travel within Europe, United States and Asia. Your
design track record and industry knowledge will be well scrutinised
during interview stage.
